Telkomsel Orbit is a fixed wireless internet service under Telkomsel. It set out on a major website revamp to improve the user experience and support its expanding digital ecosystem. I joined as a UI/UX Designer and supported the work across multiple touchpoints, from structural layout to system integration.
a clearer way through the website
I ran heuristic evaluations and user testing to simplify navigation and improve the content hierarchy across the Orbit website.
content people can follow
I revamped copy and visual structure for better readability, engagement and product clarity across key pages, including Home, Product and Support.

getting a modem up and running
Working closely with the tech team, I redesigned and optimised the journeys for login, customer purchase and modem pairing via the website, to simplify onboarding for new users.
Activation could start from a QR scan or a purchase email, with or without creating an account. Each path also covers what can go wrong: a modem that is not connected, an invalid field, a wrong OTP or a KTP that fails.

one experience with mytelkomsel
With the product owners, I worked on a seamless cross-platform experience between the Orbit website and app and the MyTelkomsel app, particularly for account syncing and modem status visibility.
where it stands
The revamp was partially released between June and December 2024. The client did not share post-launch metrics, so I have no numbers to show. Internal feedback noted better synergy between Orbit's web platform and Telkomsel's broader digital ecosystem.
